Laser optical communication (Free Space Optical Communication/FSOC) has reached the flight demonstrator phase, with a secure 1 Terabit/s throughput.

The MARLIN project involves the design of systems and algorithms making it possible to characterize a site’s atmospheric conditions for ground-satellite optical transmissions, notably cloud cover, aerosols and turbulence.

With MARLIN, Reuniwatt will be able to direct the operations of optical ground stations for very high-speed, secure and fully available communications.

TESTIMONIAL

« The Cluster’s accreditation of the MARLIN project was a very reassuring factor for the regional France 2030 program: this “sesame” confirms the technical stakes, the market potential, expertise and our team’s capacity to execute the project, and our regional roots. Aerospace Valley’s support enabled us to contractualise our presence at B612 in the long term..”
