Project description:

The WINGWATT project aims to develop high-density batteries for the aviation industry to support the transition to lower-emission electric and hybrid systems. It focuses in particular on general aviation – a sector conducive to innovation – with modular, certifiable solutions tailored to different aircraft. The project aims to establish a competitive French industrial sector centred on the design, production and recycling of batteries. Its innovations are based on thermal management, modularity and compliance with strict aviation standards. Finally, it draws on a broad industrial and scientific partnership to accelerate its development and certification.

TESTIMONIAL:

“The accreditation awarded by the Aerospace Valley Cluster for this project was an essential preliminary step towards securing funding, which was necessary for the smooth running of our activities. The Cluster also helped us raise our profile by selecting us for its ‘green aircraft’ challenge, which confirmed our ability to successfully carry out large-scale projects.”
