ASSOCIATION

Aerospace Valley is a non-profit organization established under France’s 1901 law. It was created on July 13, 2005 to develop the competitiveness of the Occitanie & Nouvelle Aquitaine Aeronautics, Space and Embedded systems cluster at the national, European and international levels. It was certified a world-class Cluster by the CIADT on July 12, 2005.

Aerospace Valley brings together companies, research centers, training organizations and academic institutions involved in the sector in both regions.

The association is composed of 7 colleges:

Large companies

SME-SMI

Training centers

Research centers

Public authorities economic development structures

Financial organizations

Professional organizations and associated partners

The association is governed by :

The Council, made up of all members of the Association.
The Board of Directors with 37 members, in which all the colleges are represented. The Board is elected with a simple majority by the Council for a period of three years.
A 6 Members Bureau, elected by the Board of Directors for a three year period.
The Strategy Committee, composed of 12 Board members plus the General Director and his/her Executive Committee.
The Label Grant Committee composed of 25 Board members . The Committee grants the Aerospace Valley Label to projects that that are relevant and consistent with the Cluster’s roadmap, and that hold a development potential for our sectors in our Regions.
