A Hackathon Supporting the Transition Toward Industry 5.0
On November 6, 2025, the Cockpit in Mérignac hosted the pitch session marking the conclusion of Hack2BRIDGE, a flagship event for the aeronautics, space, and defense sectors.
Organized within the framework of the European BRIDGESMEs project which supports European SMEs in their transition toward Industry 5.0, promoting collaboration, creativity, and innovation within the industrial ecosystem.
Co-organized by Aerospace Valley and Bordeaux Technowest, the hackathon brought together project leaders, experts, mentors, and innovation stakeholders around a shared goal: to imagine tomorrow’s solutions for a more human, sustainable, and resilient industry.
An Inspiring and High-Level Pitch Session
The highlight of the hackathon came during the final pitch session, where the teams presented their projects before an expert jury:
- Marie-Noëlle Menjou, Transformation Director at Thales
- Laure Vidal, European Project Coordinator at Aerospace Valley
- Fabrice Labarrere, Industrialization Project Manager at Safran Helicopter Engines
- Marc Bagur, Strategy Consultant in Industry 4.0 & 5.0 and Founder of Airudit
- Benjamin Tourrette, Start-up Manager at Bordeaux Technowest
The jury praised the relevance, creativity, and quality of the presentations, reflecting the commitment of the participants and the richness of the proposed solutions.
