Aerospace Valley and Polymeris Strengthen Their Cooperation to Support the Aeronautics, Space, and Drones Industries
At the most recent edition of R4 Composites, Patrick Vuillermoz, CEO of POLYMERIS, and Anouk LABORIE, CEO of Aerospace Valley, formalized a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening synergies between the two clusters and supporting economic development and innovation among stakeholders in the aeronautics, space, and drones sectors in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Occitanie.
This cooperation will rely in particular on a strengthened regional presence and the implementation of joint initiatives, with Polymeris’s presence in Occitanie set to expand starting in 2027.
Two key objectives underpin this partnership:
- To develop joint initiatives in the field of materials—particularly composites—by leveraging the complementary networks, expertise, and ecosystems of the two clusters.
- To foster the emergence of innovative solutions across the entire materials value chain—from processing to end-of-life, including recycling—in order to address industrial and environmental challenges and meet market needs.
Through this partnership, Polymeris and Aerospace Valley reaffirm their commitment to bringing together stakeholders, accelerating collaborations, and strengthening the competitiveness of regional sectors, all in support of a more innovative and sustainable industry.
