Project description :
PCP-WISE project (Public Procurement of Innovative Solutions for Water Management from Space) was launched on January 1st, 2025, marking the start of an ambitious international collaboration dedicated to sustainable water management. Funded by the European Commission Horizon Europe program and selected as part of the HORIZON-CL6-2024-GOVERNANCE-01-5 call for projects.
The main goal of PCP-Wise is to develop innovative solutions (through TRL8) to improve water management, notably in the fields of agriculture, climate risk management and resilience in response to water-related natural catastrophes, using space data and technologies. A 12-million-euro budget will fund the technological maturing of several innovative solutions, from the proof-of-concept phase to the life-sized demonstrator.
The first PCP WISE call for tender will open in September 2025. The first phase of PCP, the call aims to fund several innovative proof-of-concept solutions that meet needs specified by public buyers in the project. Aerospace Valley is notably in charge of the “Stakeholder Observatory Group” with the aim of more widely promoting the needs of public authorities and the technological solutions available.
