THE ACHIEVEMENTS

With over 350 members, the ‘Embedded and Communicating Systems’ (SEC) Ecosystem of Excellence continues to work to anticipate the challenges and technological breakthroughs that will shape the systems of tomorrow. Its work is structured around several strategic priorities:

  • Optimising and securing operations and missions;
  • Energy management and the development of more energy-efficient solutions;
  • Future architectures for embedded systems;
  • The integration of artificial intelligence into embedded systems and the associated cybersecurity challenges.

To support these transformations, the coordination of the ecosystem relied throughout the year on regular meetings bringing together around twenty coordinators and experts, fostering the sharing of expertise and the emergence of new collective dynamics.

This coordination also took the form of technical workshops and webinars dedicated to the strategic priorities set out in the Cluster’s roadmap. Discussions focused in particular on system architectures, the electrification of functions in future platforms, high-performance and secure communications, and disruptive technologies for low-carbon aircraft.

In terms of innovation and development, the Ecosystem of Excellence continued its efforts to support and structure projects. As part of this, 21 projects received support during the analysis and expert assessment process prior to their accreditation by the Cluster. E2 SEC also contributed to the emergence of new projects, notably through the Innoday by Aerospace Valley event, and supported its members in organising their calls for expressions of interest, challenges and calls for expertise.

Finally, the SEC Ecosystem of Excellence has strengthened its collaborations with other clusters, competitiveness clusters and interest groups in order to support the development of its members, in particular through consolidated relationships with, amongst others, Alpha RLH, Embedded France and TOTEM.
