Attendees can submit abstracts for oral presentations and posters.

Abstracts for oral or poster presentations must be submitted till February 3rd 2026.

 

The proposed sessions are:

Session 1: Metal production and preparation of new alloys
Hall-Heroult process, inert anodes, advances on aluminium alloys (AA), microstructure and chemical composition

Session 2: Forming processes
Rolling, additive manufacturing, extrusion, spark plasma sintering…
Influence of forming steps on internal and surface alloy characteristics

Session 3: Electrochemical surface treatments
Anodizing, PEO, growth mechanisms, green sealings, sealing mechanism, other functionalizations

Session 4: Chemical surface treatments
New conversion treatments, sol-gel, electrophoresis, painting…

Session 5: Corrosion
Mechanisms, inhibitors, performances, MICI...

Session 6: Other in-use functional properties
Tribology, fatigue, wear, color, thermo-optical properties…

Chemical aluminium ; aging, conservation, restoration of historical AA parts
