It is the largest event in the industry, bringing together stakeholders from around the world. The event embodies excellence, innovation, and international cooperation in the aerospace sector.
Innovations that redefine the future of the industry
Whether you are a professional or an enthusiastic amateur of the sky and space, the International Paris Air Show opens the doors to excellence for you, promising strategic encounters, the discovery of the latest innovations, and inviting you to fully experience the dream and magic of the sector.
As part of the program of meetings and events organized by the two regions, the cluster invites you to take part in 4 events organized by Aerospace :
🔹 #1 : Aerial Firefigthing: “France, the cradle of aviation, a major player in aerial firefighting”.
France's aeronautical firefighting industry is on a roll!
Against a backdrop of climate change and pressure on aerial firefighting resources, the French aeronautical industry is gearing up to meet major and growing challenges: replacing aging aircraft, supplementing existing fleets, developing new resources and services to improve efficiency. A number of manufacturers are currently working to meet these challenges by developing new airborne fire-fighting resources and services: water and/or retardant bombers, scooping aircraft, fleets of water-bombing aircraft.
A round-table discussion to discover these projects and solutions and exchange views with manufacturers on the challenges of aerial firefighting.
📍 Tuesday June 17 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Occitanie Region Pavilion
🔹 #2 : White paper "AI's contribution to sustainable aeronautics"
The AI for aeronautics collective, led by Aerospace Valley, will present its white paper!
Current applications, industry challenges, technological trends, levers for action. The collective examines facets of the market, construction and industry operations to contribute to a successful implementation of AI in aeronautics.
📍 Tuesday June 17 from 12:00 to 12:30 - Paris Air Lab
🔹 #3 : Skills: “Occitanie, a leading region for today's and tomorrow's skills in the aerospace industry”.
The aim is to highlight the colossal manpower and skills needs in the Greater South-West by 2030, while emphasizing that the Occitan region has a solid base of available training courses. This presentation will also highlight the leading role played by the Occitan region in major structuring projects such as AMI CMA, illustrating its perfect preparation for the challenges of tomorrow. Ultimately, the aim is to reinforce the attractiveness of the Occitan region as a leading territory for the skills of today and tomorrow.
📍 Wednesday June 18 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm - Occitanie Region Pavilion
🔹 #4 : Composites : COMPOSITE MATERIALS FOR TOMORROW'S AERONAUTICS
This workshop will focus on composite materials, the real drivers of innovation in tomorrow's aerospace industry.
Advanced design, structural performance, weight reduction, durability... these are just some of the major challenges to be met as the sector continues to evolve.
Manufacturers and experts in composite materials and aeronautics will come together to share their knowledge, discover the latest technological advances and discuss concrete applications at the heart of new-generation structures.
📍 Thursday June 19, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm - Chalet Nouvelle-Aquitaine - Co-organized by Aerospace Valley & Polyméris
🔹 #5 : How will the Compétences et Métiers d'Avenir (AMI CMA) projects boost the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region by 2030?
📍 Thursday June 19, 2:00 pm to 2:50 pm - Chalet Nouvelle-Aquitaine - supported by Aerospace Valley and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region.
