The aerospace sector presents a global value chain that is not environmentally sustainable yet. Looking beyond the current industrial model and value chain, a Circular Economy approach aims to redefine growth, focusing on positive society-wide benefits and creating sustainable new business growth opportunities.

Indeed, including the wider aviation sector produces an even larger variety of different types of waste that can be significantly decreased thanks to the adoption of the Circular Economy’s strategies.

In the particular present post-Covid19 context, aerospace businesses will have to be even more competitive and even more innovative to develop new products and processes.

They will also have to be more resilient to get through the recovery ahead and further shocks.

The webinar addresses fundamental aspects of the Circular Economy including life cycle management opportunities, including reducing unnecessary consumption and removing waste.

  • What tools & techniques can we adopt to help us innovate through the Circular Economy focus?
  • The webinar will demonstrate that focus on the Circular Economy is a means for creating new business opportunity & resilience at this otherwise very difficult time.

A second question and answer session written in 'chat' mode will be held in the second part of this webinar.

Language will be in English.

Organised by EACP-EUROSME project partner Aerospace Valley, the one-hour webinar proposes two key speakers:
