During structural parts assembly, real time detection of geometrical deviations is difficult and can lead to later adjustments or even delays in delivery. The SMAAL project addresses this challenge with a smart combination of sensors, Human-Machine interfaces and a modelling unit to monitor the assembly operations on multiple points and in real time.
During this Webinar, the strategy to chose adequate measurement technologies will be discussed. The innovative aspect of the solution will also be highlighted, especially the approach to integrate these technologies as parts of one, smart dimensionnal control solution.
