Since its creation in 2005, Aerospace Valley has always been active on the European stage, with a commitment to achieving one prime objective: a higher level of innovation for its members.

Through its participation in European Commission funded projects, Aerospace Valley paves the way for its members’ future EU collaborative initiatives.

With the creation of an European office in 2010, Aerospace Valley has stepped-up its EU activities. In addition to its participation in diverse projects, the cluster proposes to its members the screening and analysis of EU calls for proposals.

The Aerospace Valley strategy at the European level is based on three major activities:

  • Providing information and support to help members expand their participation in EU Research and Innovation
  • Providing specific support to SMEs to help them taking part in H2020 / COSME projects
  • Developing European inter-clustering activities, including for diversification issues
