Avions Mauboussin est un constructeur aéronautique fondé par David Gallezot, pilote privé, polytechnicien et ingénieur Supaéro, implanté à Belfort depuis 2020 et à Toulouse depuis 2021. Après avoir relancé la marque mythique aéronautique, Avions Mauboussin s'appuie sur son héritage pour concevoir la prochaine génération d'avions propres, silencieux, à atterrissage et décollage ultracourts (STOL). Celle qui introduira la mobilité aérienne régionale responsable à l'hydrogène, répondant aux exigences du transport moderne et aux nouvelles valeurs écologiques des clients, pilotes et passagers. L'objectif est de permettre la mobilité interurbaine responsable et l'accès à des zones d'intérêt aujourd'hui fermées aux avions classiques, pour opérer au plus proche des destinations finales et à partir d'infrastructures réduites. Deux programmes industriels sont en cours : Alérion M1h (avion léger de 2 places en tandem, 1er vol en 2023), Alcyon M3c (multimoteur régional hybride de 6 places). Avions Mauboussin est soutenu par la Région Bourgogne Franche-Comté, l’État et BPI France via le Programme d’Investissements d'Avenir et le Plan de Relance (filière stratégique nationale aéronautique), par l'ADEME pour sa démarche écoconception, et a été sélectionné pour le projet MAELE de la Région Occitanie.
Avions Mauboussin is an aircraft manufacturer founded in 2011 by David Gallezot, private pilot, graduate engineer of the Ecole Polytechnique and Supaero, based in Belfort since 2020 and Toulouse since 2021. After relaunching the legendary aviation brand, Avions Mauboussin is building on its heritage to design the next generation of clean, quiet, ultra-short take-off and landing (STOL) aircraft. A generation that will introduce responsible regional air mobility using hydrogen, meeting the requirements of modern transport and the new ecological values of customers, pilots and passengers. The objective is to allow responsible interurban mobility and access to areas of interest today closed to conventional aircraft, to operate as close as possible to final destinations and using reduced infrastructure. Two industrial programs are underway: Alérion M1h (light tandem two-seater aircraft, 1st flight in 2023), Alcyon M3c (regional hybrid multi-engine 6-seater). Avions Mauboussin is supported by the Bourgogne Franche-Comté Region, the State and BPI France via the Programme d'Investissements d'Avenir and the Plan de Relance (national strategic aeronautical sector), by ADEME for its eco-design approach, and has been selected for the MAELE project of the Occitanie Region.
