A collective project

With the "competitiveness cluster" label, it is the economy of intelligence and networks which is supported, an economy that associates design and manufacture, products and services, which supposes an active public/private sector partnership, identifies the specialists in each theme or sector and enables them to work together, which radiates its dynamics over the whole territory.
This mobilisation and this
common future is constructed around one ambition – create 40,000 to 45,000 jobs in the next 20 years - and six objectives:
  • Consolidate the global leadership position in civil aeronautics by:
    - Developing and implementing leading edge technologies
    - Increasing the presence of the indispensable actors in the «supply chain»

  • Consolidate the position of European capital of « Space at the service of humanity », from satellite design to space applications
  • Reinforce a position of excellence in embedded systems, the key for innovation and performance, by benefiting from aeronautical, space and transport synergies
  • Become a world-wide reference for education/training and research
  • Develop the potential for innovation of the SMEs and start-ups in aeronautics, space and embedded systems
  • Combat the potential threats to the supply chain companies:
    - anticipating large-scale changes (composites, etc.)
    - accompanying the development of companies
